We’re hiring a Part‑Time Diesel Truck Mechanic to help maintain and service our fleet! This role is ideal for someone dependable, experienced, and ready to take on hands‑on work with trucks and heavy equipment.

About the Position

In this part‑time role, you’ll handle routine and periodic maintenance on our propane/diesel fleet. You’ll perform safety inspections, complete repair tasks, and keep accurate service records. If you’re detail‑oriented and take pride in quality workmanship, this is a solid opportunity with steady hours and a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks and struts, wheel alignments, and fluid checks
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and document findings
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor‑trailers during maintenance or repair procedures
• Assist with assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of vehicle components
• Follow all safety standards while working on multiple vehicle types
• Maintain accurate paperwork and service records

Requirements

We’re looking for a mechanic with:

• Proven experience in diesel truck repair
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment (excavators, cranes, forklifts, industrial equipment)
• Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and work in various environments
• Knowledge of tire service procedures and wheel alignments
• Solid electrical experience (wiring harnesses, electronic control modules)
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail with inspections and documentation

Schedule & Hours

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Additional hours may be available based on workload
