Important LIHEAP Update

As Congress moves through the federal budget process, we want our customers to know that we’re closely monitoring developments around the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)—a vital resource that helps our customers with seasonal utility bills.

LIHEAP funding is currently under review, and while it has historically received bipartisan support, recent administrative changes and staffing shifts at the federal level could lead to delays or changes in how funds are distributed.

Why does this matter? Approximately 5% of all residential propane gallons nationwide are supported through LIHEAP. In some areas, that number is even higher. Stay tuned with us and National Propane Gas Association for more information as the situation evolves. You can read their article here.
