Our secure online payment portal is operated by a third party software company that interfaces with our systems and is PCI compliant.  In order to become compliant, our business practices, software development processes and our software code had to be reviewed by a 3rd party that specializes in software security. Once verified, our application was submitted to the PCI council for approval.

Shaffer’s Bottled Gas does not store, capture or transmit your information in any way on this website.  By clicking the portal link on this page you are being redirected to the payment portal site.

1.) How do I sign up?
Start by navigating to our website, www.sbgcomfort.com. In the top right hand corner there is a tab labeled
"Make A Payment". You will then see a large red button that connects you to the customer portal.

2.) Where can I find my account number?
Your account number will be on a statement or invoice. You’re welcome to call our office (814-798-8002, 8am- 4pm Mon-Fri) to obtain this information. ONLY USE the first 6 digits of your account number, do not use any -1,
-2, etc.

3.) What does my online account include?

  • Make payments
  • Delivery and transaction histories
  • Tank percentage (if applicable)
  • Print invoice/statements
  • Change your billing/statement format (paper or paperless)

4.) Can I sign up for auto-debit through my portal?
No. If you wish to enroll in auto-debit you will need to call our office and request an auto-debit form. We can mail or email to your address on file. If you stop in and fill out the form in our office, ask for a $5 off cylinder exchange coupon!

5.) Can I request deliveries and/or service online?
No. In order for us to fully understand the specifics of your requested service and/or delivery, it’s best if we speak on the phone with you or in person at our office. This ensure we provide thorough and accurate information to our dispatch teams.

6.) I would like to change my email/password. Can I do this on my portal?
Yes! Click on “My Profile” tab in your portal to update that information.

7.) Help! I’m trying to create my account and the site is telling me my information doesn’t match.
Please first ensure you typed everything correctly (and you’re only using the first 6 digits of your account number). If you are certain your information is correct, call our office and we’ll be happy to assist you. (814-798- 8002, 8am-4pm Mon-Fri)
